I have been shooting photographs ever since I could pick up a camera - starting with a 110mm and then moving on to 35mm in high school. I was lucky that my father, a photographer himself, gave me access to his cameras and lenses. Most of my early work went missing (unless you count my high school yearbooks where I shot many of the photographs). In college I began shooting dancers and using my layout experience to design posters and playbills. This has since evolved into shooting live productions with digital SLR cameras, including ballet, theater, and most especially opera.
I continue to use my layout experience to develop some posters and playbills. As Marketing Director and principal photographer for The Shakespeare Concerts I was able to incorporate one of my shots into the next year's
marketing campaign. This poster was displayed at numerous MBTA platforms around Boston.
